Kepakaran Dosen:
Prof. Denny Nugroho Sugianto memiliki kepakaran di bidang oseanografi fisik dengan fokus pada dinamika laut, hidrodinamika pesisir, pemodelan arus dan gelombang laut, pasang surut, serta perubahan iklim pesisir. Penelitian beliau banyak berkaitan dengan pemodelan numerik oseanografi untuk analisis arus laut, sedimentasi, transport sedimen, banjir rob, dan abrasi pantai. Selain itu, beliau juga aktif dalam kajian mitigasi bencana pesisir, perubahan garis pantai, serta pemanfaatan teknologi penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis (SIG) dalam studi kelautan dan pengelolaan wilayah pesisir secara berkelanjutan.
