Kepakaran Dosen:
Prof. Agus Trianto memiliki kepakaran di bidang bioteknologi kelautan dan biologi laut dengan fokus pada eksplorasi senyawa bioaktif dari organisme laut, terutama mikroorganisme simbion spons, karang, dan biota laut tropis lainnya. Penelitian beliau banyak berkaitan dengan pencarian senyawa antibakteri, antioksidan, antikanker, dan metabolit sekunder yang berpotensi dikembangkan untuk aplikasi farmasi, kesehatan, pangan, serta lingkungan. Selain itu, beliau juga aktif dalam penelitian biodiversitas laut, mikrobiologi kelautan, konservasi ekosistem pesisir, dan pengembangan sumber daya hayati laut secara berkelanjutan.
