Kepakaran Dosen:
Prof. Wilis Ari Setyati memiliki kepakaran di bidang mikrobiologi laut dan bioteknologi kelautan dengan fokus pada eksplorasi mikroorganisme laut penghasil senyawa bioaktif. Penelitian beliau banyak berkaitan dengan bakteri dan fungi laut yang berasosiasi dengan spons, mangrove, lamun, dan organisme laut lainnya untuk pengembangan senyawa antibakteri, antioksidan, antijamur, serta metabolit sekunder yang berpotensi diaplikasikan di bidang farmasi, kesehatan, pangan, dan lingkungan. Selain itu, beliau juga aktif dalam kajian biodiversitas mikroba laut, ekologi mikroorganisme pesisir, dan pemanfaatan sumber daya hayati laut secara berkelanjutan.
