Kepakaran Dosen:
Prof. Munasik memiliki kepakaran di bidang ekologi laut dan konservasi ekosistem pesisir dengan fokus utama pada terumbu karang, biodiversitas laut, rehabilitasi ekosistem pesisir, serta pengelolaan sumber daya laut berkelanjutan. Penelitian beliau banyak berkaitan dengan kesehatan terumbu karang, dampak perubahan iklim terhadap ekosistem laut, pemantauan ekosistem pesisir, dan konservasi biota laut tropis. Selain itu, beliau juga aktif dalam pengembangan metode transplantasi karang, pengelolaan kawasan konservasi laut, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir berbasis konservasi lingkungan laut.
